“My wife and I purchased about 12 bottles of the local wine which worked out just fine as the local wines are beyond reasonably priced, I was honestly surprised at the prices. But to make this purchase easier JB does offer “wine luggage” which we did purchase and it worked perfectly. The wine luggage holds 12 bottles and if very well padded with both Styrofoam inserts as well as outside padding. We paid the fee for an extra bag to bring this back to the US with us and honestly factoring in this charge along with purchasing the luggage with the low cost of the wine the average bottle cost was not that high still. If you love wine and are considering the tour I recommend this as it allows the opportunity to bring these great wines home for future enjoyment as they do not ship these to the US.”
You can buy this wine luggage during the booking process of your wine tour through our website. It’s certainly the easiest way to bring back your wines. In the US as in many European countries you have no or very low custom fees…and no limitation on the number of bottles you can bring back…
